This is nothing new. It's just the nature of viral respiratory diseases.That's not even considering that it's not known in this particular case that his condition was due to covid. Or that anecdotal cases are not evidence of any grave danger at the population level. Same goes for long covid. Flu also has long-term symptoms in a significant proportion of people who catch it. Not saying covid isn't serious, only that its unique danger is being overstated with things like this.
