Will be interesting how things play out for the Suns. Even tho they essentially have the same record as the Jazz... Utah played tougher competition to get to that mark, so their remaining schedule is light. More room for error and resting.

Phoenix meanwhile ate well off a lighter sched but now their next 7 are MIL, PHI, BOS, BK, NYK, LAC, UTA... and will still have one more game vs LAL in May.

LAC and DEN are 3 & 4 games back of PHO but similar to UTA they're mostly past the hard part.

True, but I was looking at the loss column. LAC's played more games/hasn't had any postponed, so the # games back isn't as accurate now as it will be later, unless for whatever reason not all the postponed games get to be rescheduled.

But yea, LAC can still cross the finish line with the first seed.. tho i think it's more realistic that they'll have the 2nd seed. Even without DM, UTA's sched is cake enough whereas PHO could find themselves in a 4/5 matchup with the Lakers by next week, depending on how these next 7 games go
