His contract is only one year longer than Jokic's so they'd likely have to find a way to shed KP's contract or structure contracts so they will have the cap space to sign him when he's a FA.
A lot of the teams will have cap space this summer but no one to spend it on, so maybe they find a way to hoodwink a team into doing so without having to give up sweetners in return. All it takes is just one team to make it happen lol.
