Shamet's been a disappointment. He hasn't deserved his extension so far. 10 million a year and he can't hit open shots. He's the type to struggle when you need a bucket but hits his shots when it's garbage time.

Monty is almost too loyal to a fault to players he has coached on previous teams.

Man Nets put too many damn miles on KD's legs. Kyrie should be ashamed of himself. Harden should be ashamed if himself for coming into the season out of shape.

What type of system are you supposed to have with Harden, KD and Kyrie? KD has already proven he wants no parts of playing in a system again. Harden and Kyrie both function best being on the ball; neither of them are going to willingly exist without it, especially the former.

It's all about managing their personalities and making sure they're all on the same page. You can't control them all by having them play in a system. It won't work. It'll inevitably lead to disharmony. You have to allow them to work it out themselves, and get the role players to play around that.
