He had a hamstring issue, and he's typically someone that plays himself into game shape, rather than starting the season in top condition. It's partly his temperament and partly the workload he's had to carry over the last decade.
The best thing for recovery from a hamstring injury is to rest it completely. Otherwise you just risk reinjuring it.

& that 1-5 causes the paint to be wide open on the other end. The other team has to be hot from 3.
