Preseason was a good indicator this time around. They're too flabby, Westbrook is too damn inefficient, and nobody plays good man pick n roll defense period.

Defensive intensity.

That's mainly what it is.

I said during the preseason that because regular season wins are built on effort, and because the Lakers are one of the oldest teams, ever, and have a number of players with bad defensive habits, it's going to be hard to generate wins. That's why they've been losing to lesser talented teams. They're going to be giving up that element of the game against nearly every single opponent.

Not sure what you mean if I’m high…but you do see that the lakers are down 10 to the pistons and they have lost to some other teams that aren’t looking to win anything and the players don’t seem to be meshed at all…I mean what am I missing? I had them being a title contender right now they are 8-9 headed towards 8-10 and I’m not hearing any talk of any changes coming.

For a team with championship aspirations this isn’t a good start

Nah my bad I’m pretty sure I read your post wrong. I thought you were saying Malone & Nash played together. Sounds like you were just comparing the respective teams

Still a lil confused how the team with Malone is similar to the current. They made it to the finals & didn’t look anywhere this bad
