vogel got some all hilariously bad rotations going on too man :mjlol: he be throwing guys out there like he never even seen them play together before

tie game in the 4th and he put a lineup of

Kent Woatmore :dead:
Rondo
Monk
Ellington
Deandre Jordan

for 5 mins and wondered why we couldn't score and then we went down 8

theres no way that bum ass lineup ever practiced together too

Making Vogel the fall guy isn't going to change the fact that Bron and Pelinka fukked up bringing Westbrook in while reducing flexibility going forward in the first place.

Both OKC and Washington performed better the year after he was traded away, so don't use the argument that he struggled the first half of the season to try and support the narrative.

all those coaches got fired :dead: pringles too :dead:

but more than anything if it was JUST westbrook and solid play or even experimental rotations/plays here and there with some logic behind it Vogel would be straight. but Vogel is doing some clown shyt every night

This is a disingenuous post considering the fact that OKC traded CP3 and went into a rebuild thus letting Donovan go elsewhere and not getting fired. Brooks was going to be fired regardless of whether or not he got traded for Washington.

The Lakers roster consists of the majority of players on 1 year contracts, so you're going to be hard pressed to get them all to play together with some unity when they're going to be gone next season. That roster just isn't it and Westbrook on the team and the assets they gave up reduces all flexibility that they have to improve the team.

nah you just started off on a weird tangent to begin with lol. westbrook's problems in okc and washington are not the same issue with the lakers. westbrook is a jackass, yeah, but even when he isn't being a clown that team looks like they don't know what they should be doing.

vogel is supposed to be a defensive guy and the lakers ain't guarding shyt. he's out there playing guys who don't even know what to do with each other. and because he's so lost out there he doesn't even know how to manage a game anymore.

and the thing about bringing in short term contract guys is that they more than others should definitely know their roles on a team. its obvious they get mixed messages every other week if you watch them play

What do you expect though when the majority of the roster is over 35+ and been injured thus far this season. Not to mention the fact that they went bargain bin hunting after taking on Westbrook's contract and told Vogel to make the pieces work. Any defensive minded coach would struggle and anyone who said otherwise is a lie.

They should have taken those pieces and assets they gave for Westbrook and better allocated them elsewhere. This Lakers time in its current form just isn't it and changing the coach isn't going to change that. I said the exact same thing all last season, yet Lakers fans tried insisting otherwise until the Phoenix series where they changed stances.

It's definitely Vogel's fault that he hasn't built a time machine that'll zap the players back to younger versions of themselves, erasing all their mileage and bad habits. It's his fault too that he brainwashed Bron into trading for Westbrook. That damn Vogel; he's all that comes between the Lakers and another championship.

Cade’s struggles are exactly what I predicted and cautioned people about comparing him to Luka. Cade lacks explosiveness mixed with a broken jumper. That’s something to be very concerned about. He’s also not crafty like Luka not has the handles to get to the rim to offset his lack of athleticism.

I’m a fan of Cade but his lack of athleticism is apparent. He can barely get pass NBA defenders and settles for jumpers because of it. He’s going to have to become a sniper.

You don’t need to be athletic to get back defenders.. He needs to be more shifty with his moves and have counter moves

Cade gonna be fine if he works the jumper out. He does a lot of stuff well and is obviously smart. Yeah his physical attributes are underwhelming but I think a money jump shot helps him there. Not sure why his jumper hasn’t been falling but if it ever does he gonna be an all-star imo.
