I mentioned in the offseason thread that altho PHI has a top tier starting lineup, the rest of their squad are flawed one-dimensional players that'll have to rely on heliocentric Harden ball to be productive.

What Kenny said at halftime was true in that where Embiid gets the ball in the freethrow line area doesn't force the defense to move from their assignments. So everything is always stagnant. Conversely, while not sustainable, heliocentric PnR ball by design forces the defense to shift. This is why PHI has looked better with Harden facilitating.

Stan slightly misguided in that it's not simply (deadball) Harden isos; there is play action that's forcing the defense to shift/be on their heels.

Harden has been far and away the best player on this team to this point in the season. Hell, even with his run down and just stand in front of the driver contests, he's given more in transition D than Embiid.

AD's jumpers are not even close

and I just read something about him being the worst jump shooter within a 2 year span in NBA history at 28%
