I see no lies. You can’t name a guard from either the Pg or Sg position that’s been better than Dame this year. This is why staying on a trash team and organization can fukk you as an elite player..because u get penalized for being associated with trash. On top of that he doesn’t get much national exposure anymore. The man just had the best season of his career and they’re gonna just afterthought him..
He’s been considerably better than his peers at his position….he really should be a no brainer first teamer but we all know how that goes…
SGA has been outstanding but Dame has been a notch above him clearly and Luka isn’t a guard. And both those dudes might miss the playoffs as well. If they wanna use games played against him then so be it but he’s been the best guard in the league this year…
Stans say the darndest things. Mans knows that Dame is never winning a ring so he's gotta do the most to make sure he's not forgotten.

:wow:

Ultimately, everyone knows Jokic and Luka aren't exactly on superteams and don't have a Greg Popovich as a head coach... but tbh too bad, so sad.

Context hardly mattered when it came to shyttin on Giannis, Embiid, Harden, Dame, KD, etc., despite any combo of shythead owners, dumbass gms, incompetent coaches, and shyt luck injuries to key pieces. Just like with the black/afrikan stars, the euro boys wil have their flaws magnified regardless of fairness and if either or both end up winning later (like Giannis and KD did), the past will largely be swept under the rug. This is nothing new.

iow, Luka crashing and burning out of playoff contention with his shyt playstyle... Jokic getting lit up in PnR coverage and bounced out R2.. if it happens they'll get shat on and meme'd but oh well. They wouldn't be the first or last to deal with it.
Context should have mattered though, but that was on Coli posters and the media for not taking it into player just to clown said players and get their jokes off. People have more smoke and energy for the players themselves rather than the team and FO who has played a part in their teams failures.

The funniest part about it is that the same people shytting on players like Luka and Jokic and their flaws will be the same ones begging for their teams to go after them if/when they hit the trade market just like what happened with KD.

The Mavs rested Luka 5 times on B2B sets in the 1st half of the season and went 0-5 in those games. Wonder if they have any regret…

Moving up in the lottery might be their only shot at adding another talented piece to this roster though

So basically their ceiling after going all in for the Mitchell trade is a 2nd round team in the east?
Their a Finals team depending on how Mobley develops on offense. The defense is already there. His offense just needs to catch up. He was always going to determine the trajectory of that team eventhough some Coli posters clowned that notion.

It’s gonna be hard to be a “finals team” when your best player is the 4th best player in your conference. I think Don is basically capped out on where he’s gonna be, around the 8-12 best player in the game and historically speaking that ain’t good enough

I agree, which is why they should place priority on getting Mobley to develop as that team is going to be its current state for the foreseeable future barring any trade. They're going to be one of teams that gets screwed by the new CBA as Mitchell, Mobley and Allen will all get paid around the same time, so Allen will probably get odd man out of the group.

I can’t believe Kawhi didn’t finish that clippers game with them up 20 only to lose last night

Exactly my point.

That's why seeing the same ones who were shytting on those past players now pleading for decorum and sensibility with Luka and Jokic... i doubt it's because of some new found maturity or epiphany. More like, it's not fun when the rabbit has the gun, but when the target is back on someone they don't like, it'll be the same cyclical shyt.

So for me all the babble is whatever; since we all know how it's going to end, to your point; slandering player A until its time to beg player A to pick your team.

They're in a similar position as MEM tbh, in that Ja is more seasoned but JJjr will probably be the deciding factor on their ceiling. Granted with the rampant injuries and overall unstable nature of NBA teams this year (and in recent years since Covid) there's always an opportunity for the sorta premature Conference Finals run that the Hawks had in '21.

But in a stable environment, i think similarly to Mitchell, Ja may be most ideal as your 2nd best player on a title-favorite team. Granted he's slightly younger so he still has some room to evolve further.
