People keep saying certain teams trying to manipulate seeding, but it looks like they’re just mid
And more-so, the inherent risk of the play-in tournament coupled with the current logjam of teams would make tanking foolish. Better to have a guaranteed 7-game series vs PHX, than fukk around with the unknown.

Granted, MIN having that bad loss today brings a bit more clarity since them vs OKC is all but cemented for the 9th vs 10th slot.

You that shook of the Warriors legacy that you think I need an underdog narrative? Have you watched them play this season :gucci:
These Warriors have proved their pedigree time and time again for years. If they win another championship it won’t feel like a miracle. They have a puzzling home-road record but as long as they have Steph, Klay, and Dray (and all of their other talent as well) I’m sure they’ll have a chance to defend their championship. Honestly, I still look at them as the favorites. They’re an extremely dangerous team. They’re not a miracle team.

After tonight’s loss they have a strong chance of being in the play in game. Last time they were in the play in game they lost. How many times in NBA history has a 6-8th seed won a chip? How many times has it happened in the last 20 years?

You are hedging your bets with Warrior hate. If they get eliminated early or don’t make the playoffs at all no one will remember you called them favorites. If they they win the chip it’s no big deal because they were “supposed to win” based off past success. :camby:

The 1995 Houston Rockets were the last 6th seed to win the championship.

The 1999 New York Knicks were the last 8th seed to reach the NBA Finals.
