Utah's good start is purely coincidental that they signed players who mesh well together. Just look at the assists the starting lineup had in their last game:

Olynyk - 4
Lauri - 5
Vanderbilt - 7
Clarkson - 6
Sexton - 4

None of these guys are known as pass-first players either.

This is why I've never brought into this bullshyt of folks saying that x-player needs to dominate the ball because his teammates can't create for themselves, can't dribble, can't pass etc. 99.9% of players that make the league can do that on a basic level; all you really need to do is get them to buy into it.

This is why as great as Luka is, the Mavs aren't going to have any long term success if he keeps playing the way he does.

Yea, Giannis deserves early season props for having MIL 5-0 out the gate without Khris.

I have my doubts on him being able to stack ’ships with his current team since Khris and Holiday are too sketchy/inconsistent offensively compared to Giannis's HoF contemporaries (who had legit top 5-10 players as their “sidekicks” enroute to multiple rings/Finals appearances).

However, the East doesn’t have any such stacked teams that Giannis himself can’t overcome if both Kris/Jru are on the floor and at least decent. Will be interesting to see a healthy version of MIL vs healthy versions of CLE and BOS.

came into say that it feels like the Bucks are wrapping the East up early

Well, still too soon. But super early indications are that BK/PHI/MIA/CHI are all trash too flawed...
Knicks/Wiz/Raps will cap out as feel good stories...
CLE/ATL look promising but jury still out...
...and Boston is cool.

Cam Thomas in the dog house? Joe tsai care more about Kyries reading material than firing Steve nash

To be honest, Cam isn't that nice. Sumner gets more burn than him because he makes less mistakes and bonehead plays.

With Curry and Harris back, he's pretty much done playing.

Nash needs to go though.

Watch Kenny Atkinson come back.

Or Lionel Hollins come through

If you got Sexton and Clarkson sharing the rock you caught lighting in a bottle :dead:

Did they still come back to play? This seems serious especially in this era.
Kobe, Billups, Rod Strickland, Birdman, and Derrick Rose off the top of my head and only Birdman who was basically done had to stop playing. If I google it I am sure I will find more.

Luka vs Luka 2.0 today :wow:

Banchero trying to keep that all-time 20+ point rookie record going, I think all that's left is passing up Elvin Hayes.

Going to be tough vs the Mavs defense and Luka trying to get his team to 3-3.

Banchero came off maybe his best game so far, usually is a come down afterwards but we'll see.

Assists through the season ranked so far:

20: Curry: 36
21: LeBron: 36
22: Clarkson: 35
23: SGA: 35
24: Ja: 34

That def. ain't sustaining (although who knows) but yeah roster and system are big factors when it comes to playmaking/ball movement.

Playmaking as a group mass majority of the time > heliocentric ball.
