The Minnesota Timberwolves starting lineup is getting destroyed nightly. In 282 possessions, Edwards-Russell-McDaniels-Towns-Gobert have a net rating of -10.7 with an Offensive Rating of 96.8 and a Defensive Rating of 107.5.

Lineups featuring both KAT and Gobert are being outscored by 6.4 points per 100 possessions scoring 101.9 and giving up 108.3. Would love to see if Finch can fix this but......right now it's not looking good at all.

I dont love it at all....overblitzing on every drive to leave the perimeter open isnt great defense or coaching,why play a 6-9 unit if ur gonna giv e up the big advantage on almost every drive...its a stupid ass philosophy tnhat will cost them wins all throughout the season...Sometimes you habve to stay home and just force them into making tough layups or jumpers...blitzing the ball 30 feet away every possession is assinine strategy.....My issue with Nurse is he wants chaos on defense over just being sound and principled.....way too many gimmicks.

I dont even bytch about the raptors getting fouled 30 times a game because its the defensive strategy where he wants guys to reach and cause steals,it leads to alot of fouls and bad gaambling that leaves you vulnerable too often....

Yeah they did give up a ton of open 3s yesterday.

It does feel like this team has the length to just stay disciplined and guard your man straight up.

While everyone is talking about how we have no Middleton, Ingles or Connaughton for out 8-0 run to start; MarJon Beauchamp is already lapping Nwora in play. I expect Nwora to be a trade piece at the deadline for Milwaukee, he is becoming expendable, fast.

MarJon fought tooth and nail to make it, so he is hungry. I still think Nwora can be good. But when you have a guy who is hungry, that's when you need to step up your game. MarJon is getting Nwora's minutes now, so Nwora needs to step it up.
