Are the bucks seriously shopping Allen for Jae fukking crowder? Seems way too early in the season to be tinkering around with a team excelling without their full complement of players. Allen is like top 2 on their team in defensive rating, net rating, 3 pt shooting, FT shooting, TS%, etc and well ranked in the nba in some of these categories overall. why make a move before January when you haven’t even seen how this team can look with Middleton? Allen is easily their best shooter, not to mention that Wes Matthews can play the crowder type of role without being a primadonna like crowder tends to be. I’d be looking to move Nwora, hill, and a pick, but not my best shooter.

Wesley Matthews can’t play the 3 or 4, which is what they really could use as Ibaka looks old and slow footed out there with not much to give them these days. They know they could get more for Allen than someone like Nwora especially since they don’t had the picks to add to the deal.

I get why they’d offer him in trades even if they could use his services.

James Jones roster management has been putrid in his GM tenure.

He spent all off season chasing KD and neglected improving the bench.

The only other explanation for his lack of moves is if Sarver had him on a shoestring budget.

Bridges got traded on draft night in 18 & cam in 2019. Idk how much input he had but he was in the war room.

I just don’t like when someone who is good at their job gets an unfair label because of recency bias. A putrid roster management move would be moved that failed like Luka & KP, or one that clearly isn’t working like the Gobert or Russ trades.
