Tatum having haters is the wildest thing, he might be the most unproblematic star in the league

Dude don’t do nothing but hoop and take care of his kid. Never had any type of off-court controversy, don’t be in interviews throwing shots at people, don’t even trash talk or play dirty on the court

Price of being a Celtic though I guess :manny:
:yeshrug: That's all it is. These clowns would be be hyping him like crazy if he played for any of their mediocre franchises.

At age 25:

- Already led three Conference Finals teams and a Finals team (while the "real MVP candidates" they talk about haven't done this)
- About to post the greatest scoring season in Celtics history
- About to be back to back first team All-NBA
- 46 point elimination game on the road to save the season
- 50 point Playoff game and win over the KD/Harden/Kyrie Nets
- Only player in NBA history to reach 1500 points and 500 rebounds before the age of 25
- Youngest to average 25/10/5 in a Playoff run (he did this at 22 in an ECF run too)

Easily top 10. Easily a "great player"

See, but I never said he wasn't good. He's a fringe top 10 player. That's really, really good. And he has room for improvement. I like watching him play. All I've said is the clamoring for MVP was premature, and his numbers are very good but not great in comparison to legit MVP candidates, and his playoff run was subpar. I don't dislike any player except Harden, it's not personal for me.

Top ten in the league is damn good at his age and I'd argue he's closer to top 5-7 in the league. No Celtic fan is gonna tell you he's better than Joker or Steph or Giannis but let's be honest.... he been bustin KD's ASS n/h :lolbron:

I can’t remember the last time people had this little confidence in a 1seed doing anything in the playoffs like the current Nuggets.

Maybe the 2015 Hawks?

It happens sometimes, the Nuggets are in that "I gotta see it to believe it" stage of their run. Some teams never elevate past that but if the Nuggets end up coming out of the West then everyone will say "well of course they did" :russ:

Damn good! I legit like watching him at when he’s on. I just think the MVP narrative came too early. And he was super inconsistent in the playoffs last year. Hope he shows and proves this postseason.

Jayson Tatum knob slobbing will never end :what:

He's not better than Jaylen Brown yet everyone treats this dude like he's Kobe or LeBron

He's a jump shooter

The media is in love with him and it's disgusting and disturbing

We watch every Celtics game.. or at least almost every game and you got people tryin to tell us that Brown is better lol. It's crazy. Jaylen Brown is a great two-way player and he's improved every year, he has nights where he's the best player on the court but he cannot score as easily as Tatum and he still has an average handle.
