Rob Gronkowski has 58 touchdowns in 68 games played (including ones he left early due to injury) for a TD/Game ratio of 0.85:1. By comparison, Tony Gonzalez--the previously most statistically dominant TE of all time by a significant margin--caught 111 TDs over the course of his entire 18-year career, which included 270 total games. His TD/Game ratio is 0.41:1.

In other words, Rob Gronkowski catches touchdowns at more than twice the rate of the next best tight end in football history and is already more than halfway past breaking that player's record for all-time TDs in his fifth year in the league in spite of his checkered injury history.

Were he to play the same number of total games as Gonzalez and maintain his current TD pace he would end up with 230 TDs for his career.
