Random: The volume/mute button has not worked on Comcast remote in years

I know I'm not the only. I'm actually about to look up how to program it today. But why is it so easy for this thing to go out. Like who really would program intentionally for there volume or mute button not to work?

that's wrong as well. Just went to the site Xfinity site. You gotta know the make/model of tv. And the type of control as well.
