Naw, that soundtrack was the first time he heard Mobb Deep. His Arab friend played it for him in some tent in the Middle East in the early 2000s. Lol. It's crazy how late he was on to certified Hip Hop legends and music but he would get on here every day acting like he was the end all, be all of Hip Hop knowledge.
