Rice is probably the GOAT, since you can’t argue the numbers, even tho I’m not personally picking him on my team over Moss, but WRs are not judged on rings. It’s rarely even brought up when ppl talk Rice. Can't be the goat with no rings
I completely agree.Rice is probably the GOAT, since you can’t argue the numbers, even tho I’m not personally picking him on my team over Moss, but WRs are not judged on rings. It’s rarely even brought up when ppl talk Rice.
Way too much is out of a receiver’s control.
Not exactly. Barry averaged 100 yards on 20 carries every game for a 10 year career and averaged 1500 yards per season while scoring 100+ touchdowns on the career too. He was roughly 1 season of playing at his career averages from breaking the all time rushing record. It’s not his fault the lions couldn’t build a winner around him.Randy Moss = Barry Sanders
Jerry Rice = Emmitt Smith
In terms of perceived innate talent versus what they actually did on the field in the regular season & postseason.
Crazy Talk
Moss caught 55 yd TDs in triple coverage
He also took plays off & was irrelevant in Oaktown
Jerry didn’t cheat the game. Showed up 20+ years
It’s funny how Sanders has a long leash for the Lions not building a consistent winner around him.Not exactly. Why is that part of your argument?
Some say he did since he admitted to using stick 'um
this is disrespectful to Jerry RiceRandy Moss = Barry Sanders

Incapable of being objective.

Barry had even less in his control as a running back is why. If the lions fall behind by 2-3 scores, odds are they’d have had to abandon the run. It’s funny how Sanders has a long leash for the Lions not building a consistent winner around him.
But the leash doesn’t seem like it was quite as long for Marino.
To be clear: they were both let down to some degree by their franchises. I just feel like people make more excuses for Barry.
