Brady and Moss :blessed:

Rice got the numbers and i love him...but if youre talkin pure talent i gotta go with moss, dudes a freak to run that fast at that height and have them hands :wow:

Rice's work ethic though>>>

rice was probly the smarter receiver and ran better routes, more precise...youger ppl sleep on jerry...its real close to me

See were not talking about talent though, because we all know there's plenty of players who had a lot of talent that weren't better than guys who had less talent.

This is bottom line about who was the better player

Tim Brown should be in the HOF, but besides him, you have to name some HOF's on that raiders team.

That's the only Raider on that offense that even has a chance to sniff the HOF.

I believe Woodson was on that defense if i`m correct, probably the only defender who has a chance at the HOF (he's already in I believe)

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
That's a weak excuse. Jerry had back to back 1000+ yard receiving seasons with Rich Gannon (He was 39 and 40 years of age in those seasons). Is Rich Gannon in the HOF?

63 yards a game will get you 1000 yards breh. Gannon led that team to the super bowl and they had a lot of weapons on those teams.

For the MAJORITY of his career he had Montana and Young and the west coast offense was pass heavy.

Were they really the greatest though? They never won shyt? They got blanked 41-0 by the NYG.

Stats only tell so much of that story.

Give me the Rams 1999 offense over either of those offenses.
Yes they were the greatest, stats:blessed:

Having the best offense doesn't always ensure a championship... But not having a championship doesn't discredit their stats and recognition as the greatest offenses on record..

The 2000 Vikes got beat 41-0... What does that have to do with the 2nd greatest O of all time 98' Vikes?

Anyone saying Moss was better than rice, wasn't even a twinkle in their daddy's eye in his prime. You got n1ggas that will argue Rice is one of the greatest football players to have done it in any position.

Moss is #2 though easily.

I'd still take :to: at 2....look at his production late in his career vs Moss

Moss was a good blocker, and did catch over the middle though. He just didn't do it as much as a :to: or Struggle Braids did. And while I do agree that the bomb/fade were his signature, he was a beast at doing it. Why jump hook when you can dunk?

But he aint the GOAT. If Randy had the work ethic and longevity of Rice, he could have been.

Most of these cats sayin Moss is tha best are not old enough to have seen Rice play football

Moss ain't close to seeing Rice, that nikka been a joke all season, Rice was still going to pro bowls in his old age even while on shytty teams, you trolls disgust me :snoop:

To argue Moss being better than rice is saying Moss is argubly the greatest player in nfl history. Anyone with a shred of credability would never even think about saying this.

I don't think there was any point during their active careers that anyone thought TO was better than Moss.

like...i never ever heard that on sohh.

Terrell Owens, regardless of the TD stats I'm sure you'll mention, was never considered better than Randy Moss, and was only at times for single seasons considered 'as good' or as irreplacable and this is no media bias saying this.

this is how i know you wasn't watching the 49ers. West coast offense was a balance of run and short passes to keep the defense honest.

You probably think montana was sitting in shotgun with 4 wide sets in the 80's like QB's today are, dont cha

:heh:
