Where is the other HOF'ers on that squad?

Name them please.

These are all players that will make the HOF if they haven't already...

Rod Woodson, Janekowski(sp?), Lincoln Kennedy(HOFer), Charles Woodson, Tim Brown, Sam Adams, and maybe even Bill Romanowski

Not to mention they had Solid O line with Barry Sims, Frank Middleton, Barret Robbins

Solid Receivers Jerry Porter

Their entire squad was stacked in 2002... It wasn't just Jerry and Rich Gannon...

I don't think there was any point during their active careers that anyone thought TO was better than Moss.

like...i never ever heard that on sohh.

Terrell Owens, regardless of the TD stats I'm sure you'll mention, was never considered better than Randy Moss, and was only at times for single seasons considered 'as good' or as irreplacable and this is no media bias saying this.

According to who though, who gives 2 fukks about what 100 message board posters have to say?

Since when does that herald any legitimacy to a player?

I think 100 message board posters (well over that btw) is a fair assessment to gather what the 'general consensus' is ccomparing two athletes. Furthermore, I emplore you to find sources during that era which say that Randy Moss is not as good as Terrell owens. I suggest you start at SI's vault; they have articles since the 60s.

Good luck.

And shyt TO got more yards and receptions, only thing Moss got is TD's

And that's kinda foolish because stats don't always make up the story especially if they're very close.

shyt, Bret Favre got more passing TD's and yards than Joe Montana.

Well Moss was considered the Best Player in the NFL(outside of QB's) by a lot of credible people in 1999-2001.... TO has never been considered that... Moss just did so many things better than TO... Never in their Primes was Owens ever considered better than Moss....

What the fukk do you actually want man?

You tell me to go to the stats, I go to the stats and that's what comes up. TO has more yards and receptions. Moss has him on TD's.

I really could care less what some people consider, because a lot of people don't know shyt.

I consider Moss & TO a toss up, it comes down to preference, obviously you prefer Moss.

You can't subtract a player down to just his prime years, it's just silly. Consistency is a big part of the game.

I do believe in his best years Moss was better than TO. But as a full body of work, I prefer TO as a player

63 yards a game will get you 1000 yards breh. Gannon led that team to the super bowl and they had a lot of weapons on those teams.

For the MAJORITY of his career he had Montana and Young and the west coast offense was pass heavy.

If 63 yards a game was easy to get, then every starting receiver in the league would have 1000+ yard seasons. Jerry had and 1100 yard and a 1200 yard season at the age of 39 and 40 with Rich Gannon throwing him the ball. The worst season he had where he played a 16 game season came in San Francisco.

You clearly know nothing about the west coast offense, but that's whatever.

Like I said earlier, you can cherry pick Randy Moss's best stats and put them up against Jerry's, and Jerry wins in every category.

Every Category.
