Owens didn't play his 1st season, he was 4th string behind rice, stokes, and uwuzekey (however u spell it). He only played in 97 because jerry got hurt. SO he really played 1 more season. Not to mention he didn't play in pass happy offenses such as minnesota and 07 new england, he played west coast where it was a balanced attack for the majority of his career up until he went to cincy and buffalo

Owens did more, while moss was the better deep threat. Owens did everything as a WR. He turned mediocre jeff garcia into a pro bowler, with him, Nabby had the best year of his career.

Moss turned QBs around as well it just comes down to preference. I prefer TO
