way to move the goal post. The argument is how defenses guarded owens. No one said anything about moss.

my point still stands. Owens never played with a capable number 2 receiver until he went to the bengals at the end of his prime

Not saying Owens wasn't a focal point of some defenses, but no other receiver, has demanded as much from defenses as Moss. After his first game where he destroyed that secondary, every single game, every single play, he had a guy over the top. You can't say that same shyt for any WR even Jerry Rice.

Yeah Owens was a better blocker, route runner, but shiet, that's like saying since Emmit was a better pass catcher, and knew how to follow his blocks better therefore he was a better RB than Barry. shyt is silly.:mjlol:

Moss and Sanders are game breakers, cheat codes, that's fair. Sanders has the most yards loss behind the line of scrimmage though. That can be a function of both his running style and at times a weaker offensive line.

Owens didn't play his 1st season, he was 4th string behind rice, stokes, and uwuzekey (however u spell it). He only played in 97 because jerry got hurt. SO he really played 1 more season. Not to mention he didn't play in pass happy offenses such as minnesota and 07 new england, he played west coast where it was a balanced attack for the majority of his career up until he went to cincy and buffalo

There is no real significant difference in number of attempts between the TO offenses and the moss offenses to call one "pass happy" not the others.

For example

The 2000 49ers had 583 overall pass attempts while the 2007 patriots had 586, the 1998 Vikings had 533

And T.O is a top 3 WR ever while never being the fastest or jumping the highest.. think about that. He got it out the mud.
TO was a track guy breh. He ran a 4.4 w/ da Cowboys. Moss was a 4.2 guy, but his playoff stats look funny in da light. U put a safety deep enough amd u could contain him. TO had secondarys bouncin off him in his prime. N1ggaz done forgot about Eldorado. :damn:

Y'all Remeber when TO called randy the other 81 and scored 4 tds in one game against skins, then that night randy scored 4 tds in one half? Lmao
And he finished with 4 for the game. Owens did it against a playoff team, Moss did it against a team that hasn't been to the playoffs since Pokemon yellow version was the hottest video game. Why does nobody seem to remember how large a portion of new England's offensive stats that year were a product of running up the score/stat padding against bad teams when the game was already decided? Throwing deep when up 35-0 in the fourth quarter and going for it on 4th down while up 20+ with 5 minutes to go type shyt.
