I can never objectively evaluate Infamy. The album was just too depressing at the time coming on the heels of 3 classic LPs back to back plus HNIC :psalute:
yeah thats kind of my issue too. P was sounding so hurt and :flabbynsick: and the beats were :scust: in a bad way on some joints...and it just felt weird hearing these fools with 112 & Vita lol.

Probably right beneath the holy trinity.

Although I would say the highest high points of Amerikaz's Nightmare are probably a little bit better, but song for song this album is generally better by a little bit. Like, there's nothing on Free Agents that's as dope as Win Or Lose IMO. But from front to back the average song quality is probably a little bit sharper ya know?

Honestly I gotta re-listen to that Infamous Mobb Deep album that dropped a few years ago. That shyt was underrated and is a sleeper in their catalogue.

Blood Money and Infamy are underrated imo. Infamous Mobb Deep wasn't good outside of a few songs, both Hav and Ps solo 2010s sh1t was much better

Not ranking Mobb Deep- everything was good except for when they were signed to 50.. that seemed forced and didn’t capture their sound. (Rankings would work in terms of actual songs not albums). With the 50 fiasco, P even says it himself- they were going back to their original style and background after they knew people weren’t feeling it, and weren’t into it themselves.

And not just albums, mixtapes like Black Cocaine, White Cocaine 2. Even the 2014 Double cd - titled, The Infamous Mobb Deep, was kind of slept on but as dope as their earlier releases.
