to be fair, I'm a Starang stan, I literally spent YEARS trying to track down his "No Relation to Stevie" mixtape, and when I finally found it I was :blessed:
he's far and away one of my favorite rappers period. dope voice, dope delivery, and lines that would be :manny: coming from any other emcee sound dope coming from him.

as far as Buckshot? :scust:i'm definitely in the minority of folks who really don't like him. in fact I detest him. :francis:
he has no redeeming qualities for me except he's got two projects with 9th Wonder, but I only listen to them for the beats. I NEVER understood the hype around that cat :yeshrug:

imo I feel like Sean was second fiddle to Rock for a long time but in the 2000s he really came into his own. kinda similar to how Tame One stepped out of El Da Sensei's shadow and ended up being the tighter of the two as a solo artist. :ehh:

:mindblown: yall nikkaz wildin. "M-Pire Shrikez Back" is a personal classic for me and my crew from High School. That album was very different from "Da Storm" but that shyt went hard. Had a hilarious Joe Cleezy skit and alot of bangerz featuring the entire BCC and Havoc. Maaaaan don't get me started I could do an entire thread on that album by myself.

Agree. M-Pire is a personal landmark to me. I put a buncha Nocoast niccas on to Duck Down off the strength of that.

always felt the same, Sean was cool early on but he was too serious. it was when he took the page from Ghostface/Cam of not being too serious and injecting humor in his raps that he became the ug superhero he was

Man, this is like asking a parent to rank their favorite kids, lol.

My favorite MC of all time is Buckshot. And my favorite album of all time is Da Shinin. So in that regards of my "favorite" BCC personalities:

1. Buckshot
2. Steele
3. Fukk you I aint choosing.

But seriously, the most technically skilled IMO was always Rock. That's what kinda makes Sean P's rise in underground stardom so surprising. Ruck was always dope as fukk, but Rock, due to his distinct voice, lyrics, and charisma was always seen as the featured star of the click IMO until he linked up with fukkin Limp Bizkit, smdh.

Also, havent seen much love for Illa Noyz, The Representativz, or M.S. All of them cats could drop some dope sh*t off the bench when the starters took a breather.

Hell, Twanie Ranks blessed enough tracks for me to consider him BCC. I believe he's Louieville's cousin if i'm not mistaken.

Oh, for the cats not giving M-Pire enough love. Its prolly my least played BCC album, but its definitely a dope output. Top 5 BCC track is on that album ("You're Not Sure To See Tomorrow"). I used to have that track blaring on volume 10 out my campus dorm in college when it dropped something heavy on repeat.

i thought I was the only one that thought Rock was the nicest.

Rock
Ruck
Starang
Steele
Buck
Tek

They all nice, so it changes depending on the year but that's where it currently is. Tek slacking a bit.

Tek is supposed to link up with Timbo King for a joint project, but neither guy is really reliable for quick releases so who knows
