Romo is statistically better than every QB on OP's list but Rivers. His not being clutch is illusory too because Romo led his team to 5 fourth quarter comebacks last season. He can't be expected to bear the game winning load every game though. That's too heavy a load for any quarterback, even one as talented as Romo. He wouldn't have to perform miracles every game if Dallas' defence weren't ranked bottom 5 in the league.

Also, you say Flacco has 19 4th quarter comebacks but my source says he has 12 since 2008. Romo compares favorably in his first 6 full or near full seasons: he has 17 4th quarter comebacks.

Dudes see the Cowboys lose and think it's because Romo isn't playing well. That's spurious. Romo plays at an above average level throughout. The problem is really the defence. The Cowboys' defence puts Romo in a precarious position every game, forcing him to press and make plays to win the game. This is when Romo throws his worst interceptions.
