This album is okay.

As much as I fukk with Ran, he’s the type of artist where I really gotta fukk with the beats to get into the music. If I don’t fukk with the beat, I’m going to get bored quick. He can start sounding monotone & repetitive to me.

I don’t think the beats are bad, but they are kind of dull, and requires a certain type of emcee to carry them, and I don’t think Ran is that guy.

For me, Ran just isn’t the type of guy that can rap over a “meh “ beat and make a great song out of it, at least not this 2021 version of Ran.

Just curious though, do you prefer these beats to his Nichlas Craven beats on all the Director's Cut series projects? Because Big Ghost isn't my favorite producer, but I do like him more than Craven. And I at least think the beats here have more "beat" to them.
