You have to understand Ransom is HEAVY with the bars which is why Cravens production style meshes greatly. I would love to get a Ransom/Alchemist album though

Lol ain’t nothing wrong with Craven’s production at all. Ransom sounds perfect over it and it’s a fresh sound for him
Craven make better beats than the majority of the boring ass beats that's on most albums now

Ransom is lyrically a different breed. Currently in my Top 5 , but I need to hear him make a project on some Alch, Madlib, a Just Blaze joint etc. , his boy Nick Craven and just overall better production.

Gave this a listen and I'm not fully sold. Bars are A1 and he's clearly elite in that space, but his delivery is way too monotone for me. There doesn't seem to be any switch in energy to match what he's saying. Banks and Royce both washed him in my opinion.
Will definitely peep what he drops next but don't know if I'll come back to this too often.
