PC gang gon come in here & recommend a PC like that fixes the fukking problem :mjlol:

Office 2019 & 2021 are BOTH compatible with Monterey and are one-time fees, not recurring.

Office 365 isn't worth it unless you do the 'Family' version and/or travel a lot.

Elaborate as to why you think that was so funny breh... I can understand someone seeing PS Now being trash compared to Gamepass but what is wrong with Spotify?

People paying corporations for the privilege of giving them their personal data to help said corps build ongoing personality profiles will never not be hilarious.

Google doc is a great free alternative. Only thing ms office is good for is excel.

Why can't I just keep the files on my laptop like I've done for the past 26 years of my life.

All that google doc shyt seems like a way for folks to collect data and keep tabs on people. Like FOH

All that cloud shyt means to me is that other folks can hack and see your shyt.

You can catch Microsoft Office (non subscription version) on sale quite frequently. It was just $50 a couple weeks ago I believe.

Am I missing something here?
Its the bullshyt sales model thats the problem. You use to be able to buy office once and it would serve you for years. He has a point about how corporations are desperately trying to squeeze consumers for every drop.

It would be cool if they didn’t try to hide behind “moving to the cloud”

I get all that...but strictly speaking of Microsoft Office you can still get the non subscription suite for cheap. The one that will serve you for years.

You still can get Office without a subscription, breh. No need for that at all unless it's more convenient to have accessibility to docs across platforms on several different devices.
