Half of our respected "legends" wouldn't be legends if social media was out in their time, and I'm an 80s baby who loves the Golden Era. But nikkas was getting smacked up, beat up, extorted, robbed, gay shyt and all kind of fukkery in the 90s.
Unless you REALLY had your ear to the street or was thumbing through every Hip-Hop publication you could get your hands on, to read rappers exposing other rappers in interviews, most of their fukkery flew under the radar to the mainstream in that era.
That's one thing I can say about this generation. A "real" rapper in this era with no real blemishes to his credibility, no worldstar moments, etc, gets the utmost respect from me.
