Act like black folks ain't start wearing skinny jeans, skateboarding, and listening to rock music when lil Wayne was popularI actually the days where white people listened to rock/pop and did their own thing, and Black people did our own thing... I feel like things were better.
But now these mother fukkers all listening to our music, saying our slang terms, and acting like they on our level now..... white people need to fall the fukk back.![]()
i felt around the time "rap metal" became a thing that this was just around the corner...

fukk you think the pioneers of rap music were listening to, and influenced by...BEFORE there was rap music?
even decades after that, you realize that some of your favorite rappers were listening to other music besides rap when they were growing up, right?? what about producers? you know how fukkin boring rap would sound if the producers behind probably some of your favorite songs ONLY listened to and wer influenced by one or two types of music coming up?
thats one way to keep music, probably the most universial artform there is, thats capable of reaching billions of people, fresh and interesting and cutting edge... by segregating it and placing limitations on it... yeah...sounds awesome

I was mad fukked up at Ghe2oGothik when I made this thread. It was bound to happen
All these new rappers have mosh pits at their shows.
Most of these kids that were into rock/punk/metal are into hip hop/rap as much too.
But trap is like that hood metal.
Seriously say what you want about some of these new rappers..but they have fun ass shows.
I love seeing rappers doing stage dives and shyt.
that new Saint pablo tour with the bway its set up is like a mosh pit in the crowd. i was so sad i missed the MSG show.
even the way these new rappers dress are like rock stars.
I saw a lil yachty clip from BB kings where he had the crowd do the wall of death.
now for those of you that don't know...the walll of death is when the crowd parts into two sides and leave an open space in the pit. then when the music starts...
both crowds of people charge at each other. First time i participated in that ws at a Sick Of it All show in 2002...and thats a classic NYC hardcore band.
Rock became boring for white kids...
Black kids wanted to rock out and now are rocking out.
@biscuitsnbangers rap and rock have alwys had their paralllels. They are both rebellious in nature. i felt around the time "rap metal" became a thing that this was just around the corner...
