does anyone know of any rap songs in different meters, like 7/4 or 11/8?

i have heard the odd song here and there thats in 3/4 or 6/8 (not uncommon signatures) but are there any "math rappers" like there are "math rockers"?

if not, it seems like unexplored territory at least. a lot of jazz used weird time signatures. maybe its somewhere rap could go? :patrice:

maybe i should put this blunt out! :heh:

bumping my own thread

heres 'polymers' by mazbou q. he raps in 7 over a 12/8 beat (which is easier to count as 6/4)

and heres mazbou breaking it down the structure of his song

it might not be your thing but looking at the history of musical subgenres and how they develop, 'math rap' may be a thing one day. i dont hear a lot of people trying this, but what i have heard is exciting as hell.

i will bump in the future as i find more
