It wasn't happening during the beef it was already done 6 months to a year before the beef kicked off. And the beef had been brewing for over a decade and was inevitable, so to correlate the two is retarded.

Everyone responsible for pushing hip hop had already been laid off, and hip hop was not sticking around on the charts. I believe Like That was the first rap song with staying power in like a year when it dropped.

It wasn’t done 6 months before and the beef started to kick into high gear in March 2024 when Future’s album dropped but the more information that keeps coming out, more behind the scenes stuff indicates the beef is much more extensive than originally understood.
