None of your business
Hip-hop desperately needs a Pitchfork type website. One that prides itself on discovering talented artists and giving them a push.

We got too many trend followers and not enough taste testers. The Coli should be a place to discover and discuss new artists but folks in here would rather gossip about instagram pictures and Twitter beefs.

Yeah its like they need a CLOUD with which to upload their SOUND or something.

man, its not like he sold any units in the late 90s why the hell would he now?

he peaked with Crookie Monster :yeshrug:

vets mc's need to have some classics to perform, i mean its not like someone gonna pay to hear Rising to the Top and fukkin Crookie Monster in 2016. most of his shyt got dated, and the constant changing of the names fukks with your brand

atleast GZA can tour around the world with Wu Tang and make money...

this dude has literally no chance of making any income through music.
This is depressing :mjcry:
People on here clown artists like KRS and Mobb Deep when their new projects go triple aluminum siding...but at least they can make $ touring all over the world for the foreseeable future. Mobb Deep been touring in the US, Europe and even Asia for the past few years :wow:
Those checks must be :wow:
On the other hand, if breh has been supporting himself off hip hop all these years...without working a "real" job, that's an accomplishment in itself :yeshrug:

The problem is that for as great as Agallah can be at times, he was never 'that guy' even from a NY underground hip-hop standpoint. I mean he can spit a dope 16 and he's underrated as a producer but he never made the most out of his Purple City affialition and he may have to realize that after about 20 years in the game, he may have to pursue other interests to pay his bills.

Yeah, he was never going to be a household name in this rap game.. He should have invested his money into business or something.. I think he's watching his tv these days and seeing all these light skinned nikkas out here winning and saying "That could be me ":dwillhuh:

Seriously tho it bothers me him in so much pain.. Hopefully this is just a phase is his life as his rap career is actually over, and he recovers in a couple months

Crazy how many people on here don't know who Agallah is.. I must be getting old as shyt

people take the stars for granted, the best example i could give is OC. i think he has 1 album (Jewelz) that sold 100k+, now he can still tour a little easier than an Agallah, but he earned it with superior music

its incredibly hard to maintain a 20 year career, he should be thankful to still have some fans. dude bytchin about possibly having to get a job GTFOH

Dont even know who OC is.. :heh:

But yeah, everyone in Dipset was pretty business savory and never relied on rap... Cam'ron, Juelz, Jim Jones all side hustles beyond rap and they're the bigger names in the group (I even went to Freeky Zeekeys Instagram just yesterday and it looks like he opened some female clothing boutique in NC)

Agallah should have followed suit.. But Im not going to pass judgement on this man and nobody should based on a 10 line Instagram post.. Who knows what else might be happening in his life.. I just hope dude breaks out of this funk and gets back on his feet.

So many rappers who had promising career and now work jobs. Lol just about all of Wu Tang.. J-Hood and the list goes on an on.. Ag gone to be alright..

You know what's fukked up... for some stupid ass reason I'm friends with homey on Facebook for the past like 5 years and as of late I seen this coming. His posts (especially since Sean P passed) have been getting more negative and much and much less coherent. No lie. Seems as though he was just shakin it rough yesterday... he back to normal.

You gotta imagine it being rough though. Not saying he was the dopest or anything but there really was no reason for Agallah to not have made some impact. Dude is an ill producer. Haven't listened to his new album yet but I can guarantee there's some bangers on there. Hopefully he doesn't do anything stupid.
