South Beach is madness every day of the year breh 
That's the problem. South Beach is overcrowded and too wild as it is. But that's what it is 
Anything is liable to happen down here at any moment, and trying to get around, to, and into anywhere is ridiculous enough already. Now you add in thousands of people way too hype on top of that?People down here can barely stand Ultra Weekend as is, but the difference is that's atleast a concentrated venue (in Miami, not South Beach) and then people scatter to various clubs throughout not only South Beach, but Downtown and Wynwood as well.
Memorial Day Weekend is a bunch of people showing up on South Beach and that's it. Do you know how many people get down here and because the bars on the Beach are so packed they can't get in, so they just start chilling on the street? Or just driving up and down the streets (not really driving, but just chilling in traffic jams) for the whole weekend?
Miami Beach does not have the infrastructure to support it
When BET were still doing Spring Bling, they did it in West Palm (hour north of Miami, where I live) and you'd have no idea it was happening unless you went specifically to the beach where it was. We have the space here for dozens of thousands of people to come from out of town and go wild without it ruining the every day lives of the people who live there.
Miami Beach doesn't. Plus, everyone coming out of town is trying way too hard and fronting way too much. Can't think of a single person I know who lives here who is like "YO IT'S MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND WE GOTTA HIT SOUTH BEACH!" The reaction is moreso "Damn I wanted to hit South Beach this weekend but it's Memorial Day
"Having just been to South Beach, Ocean Drive for the first time......A strip club right there would be hectic as fukk, but not a huge difference from the nightclubs already there, (with Cuban girls go go dancing in the middle of the day), or icon off Washington, or the other strip club on same street. Ocean Drive was fun for people watching and walk though, but that area is just like other high impact tourist zones in near third world countries, tacky as fukk and really sad.

Strip Clubs haven't ever been really successful on Miami Beach. That's off Washington Ave. Ocean Drive is a cluster fukk. I wonder how long dude has owned KOD because it was originally owned by an Italian dude based in Las Vegas. Just had some black guys, Trick Daddy's daddy, run it.
