That time of day on I-35 there's probably a little bit of traffic so I mean unless you're a literal trained killer and sharpshooter, grabbing your gun from the glove box is a waste of time in a situation where time is key. Hell even if it's on your lap it's a waste because you cant shoot at all sides.

If it was lunchtime traffic it aint bad, but it's still too crowded to be able to speed off. So you get out and run on foot. At that point you're in trouble. If not today, next time they got you.
