so show me a fivio foreign song that sounds like he’s from a different state and break it down for me.

Also show me other ny artist tracks that sound southern and break down the lingo for me.

you probably aren’t and are going to cap all night.

It doesn't have to be a lingo thing, but obviously they're doing drill (Chicago), UK beats And southern beats, pull up any trap rapper from NY

A comment?

I specifically asked you to break it down for me.

There is no UK, Chicago or ATL lingo or accents in that entire song other than GDK.

When did I ever say lingo? This is music sound, new Yorkers love to play semantics :russ:

The Wave is basically beats and music styles that originated elsewhere (UK, chi town, ATL)

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.

Yea and guess what. A UK producer actually flew to NyC just to make beats for NY rappers.

so you are at a lost with this debate here.

There is no current ny rapper trying to blow up using southern beats.

:yeshrug:

But while you’re at it you can post the southern beats that these new rappers are using.

you literally used lingo in your Jay Z example lol.

seems like southerners like to babble all day just to babble.

There is not a single thing about big drip that’s ATL

A UK producer flys out of his own town
to make beats for rappers and the rappers he’s trying to work with are riding his wave

:mjlol:

that’s one thing I do love about you non New Yorkers. If we give you attention long enough the insecurities and lameness gets exposed lol.

shyt if that’s the case than Southern Florida was riding the wave of ATL

If it doesn't sound like boom bap it's Southern bro. No 808's for us that's "wave riding".

the south doesn’t even have 1 sound so who exactly are we riding?

If that’s the case than the whole south is riding ATL?
ATL got influenced by Memphis and in the 90's they had West Coast influence and certain rappers like Tip was East Coast influenced

Son is from Florida and they biggest rapper is XXXtentacion made a bunch of low fi boom bap songs

NY is the only place that got to stay in a box

It's also always the whole South vs. lil NYC nikkas form like voltron. In real life the real Atlanta nikkas the Thugs, Gunnas, Luccis all show NY love and claim their NY influences like Jim Jones. On message boards like this there's a problem.

but in the Same token those idiots will say NY needs to “get along with the program”.

And that Florida nikka is dumb. In reality fans of music don’t take this stuff seriously. Just haters who don’t want to give props. Nothing more.
