This is why I'm just disgusted with what rap has become now, especially with the infiltration of hipsters in black neighborhoods via. gentrification and in hip-hop/"urban" media. They seem to have an infatuation with the hood. And all for the wrong reasons. Like black people are subjects to be studied on an urban safari.

They like the ignorant, violent, uneducated type of black people that seem to only be a threat to themselves or other black people. Last post I'm gonna make in this thread then I'm bouncing to a friend's crib.

Okay, last year around NYFW me and a friend were walking around the city. We stopped by this art gallery that had a photo exhibition. It was pictures from this middle aged white female artist who took pictures of black prostitutes in Cuba.

I said outloud in conversation with my friend "why do all the hookers (in this exhibit) have to be black? I mean, couldn't she of done something on white hookers? Are white hookers not interesting subjects? I'm just sick of black people being seen like we're some spectacle to be gawked at facing poverty and possible death while you fukk off in your $4000 a month loft apartment in the Lower East Side".

I didn't realize the artist was outside at the time I said this, cause I remember before we walked to the gallery I saw her talking to some guy...
