FIrst off, the Black community isn't monolithic at all.
Tupac might have women raving about him but it has more to do with him being actually handsome(

) and having a deep voice than him just being a rapper. I've never seen women rave about Biggie's looks even though his music gets bumped a lot.
Ordinary rappers or even C-List rappers don't get anywhere near as much female adulation as the Coli thinks.
Take Tech N9NE for instance. Is Tech N9NE considered highly desirable in the Black community? What about Kool G Rap? Or Earl Sweatshirt? Or Kendrick Lamar? Or Cassidy? Or Jadakiss? Or Pusha T? Or Baby Keem? Are women raving about these dudes constantly on social media, never mind the no-name local rappers who have no relevance outside their hometown or block?
Granted, there are rappers who are either good looking or pander heavily to women who are deemed kind of desirable. Drake is an obvious one. LL Cool J is another obvious one. Ja Rule, Nelly, and Ludacris had many women on their jock too. Dave East is musically irrelevant but women love him cause he's tall and attractive.
But being a rapper in itself doesn't really mean jack. As others mentioned, athletes like basketball and football players have more sway because they not only have a lot of clout/money but they tend to have a more desirable physique.
Also, while R&B may not be that popular these days, R&B singers still have tons of sway with women even if they're washed. Chris Brown has far more Black(and other) women in his concerts than the average rapper.
That's not even touching on preachers. Preachers are often desirable in the Black community too. I've got stories for days on that given that I have several pastors in my family who literally had to turn down advances from women in their own congregations.
All in all, it depends. Every woman is different. Some women are more into professional/rich guys. Some are into athletes. Some are into gamers. Some are into rappers. Some are into preachers. Some are into R&B singers. And the list goes on.
