It's hard for him to imagine because they portray an image (and for the most part live the life) like they are young traveling, eating good, designer clothes opposed to how reality is for 99% of us once we hit 25.

I can't imagine being in my 30's looking like them.
I think when you compare them to your average person in their 30's they look like buffoons.
Thats what they do....they have love for it...This is not a sport

Imagine growing up form a kid doing what you love then you hit 30 no matter if your selling and making money then they say well you have to stop now....dumb huh?..shyt russel still dress like that and no one cares.

The age isn't the problem, it's the subject matter and the way they act/dress/present themselves to the public.
what subject matter? bytches and hoes? You try to rap about something else and your deemed a sellout (Jay) or your trying to change (T.I) Or people to dumb to understand what your taking about (Lupe).....you cant win so its best to put out the same album over and over for your "core" (Reakwon,Baby,2chaniz)

People seem to think they live in a fantasy world where 35+ year old rappers are supposed to look the same way they did in their 20s and never age and if they do look different then theyre automatically :flabbynsick: or that rappers are supposed to rap about the same thing they did a decade ago when they were in different times in life and if they dont then theyre automatically washed up

'Mature' Jay-z was still rapping about Coke sales every other bar and 'mature' TI was rapping about running up people with AK47's and being in the crackhouse :snoop:

If these are considered 'mature' transformation it just goes to show how immature hiphop is, which i think like most of what is prevalent in hiphop is a reflection of the black psyche (see 'baby boy' for details)
