I mean … they mean it doesn’t affect the dopamine systems typically associated with addiction
To refer to cannabis as addictive is a mischaracterization, particularly when it has less dopamine effect than videos games (scoring a touchdown in Madden literally comes with an audible effect meant to enhance this, it’s a slight wooshing sound).
It is merely a plant, can be considered an herb - the human chemicalogical system features endocannabinoids - these are responsible for many regulatory autonomic processes
What everyone knows is, cannabis plant also has cannabinoids - it created them as a deterrent for insects, a natural repellant - that happened to draw humans to cultivate and selectively breed it to enhance these traits
But even with this information most don’t perceive that cannabinoids in the plant are phytocannabinoids - unlike the endocannabinoids within us, the phyto denotes that these cannabinoids come from plants
The human is nearly intaking plant derived cannabinoids, that are compatible with the humans system
What you mean to say is people let their life revolve around it
