Shawty Lo got it when he beefed with TI and because his management taxed promoters for shows when his album dropped.

Master P shut down lots of stuff for Pastor Troy.

Clipse had to do the We Got It 4 Cheap series because of Jive gave them the cold shoulder.

Roscoe Dash caught it after complaining about writing credits for Wale & Kanye.

50 was post-Columbia until he started dropping mixtapes. He somewhat blackballed now musically but he has money from other ventures so they can't shut him down.

Murder Inc got blackballed after the 50 beef and the FBI raid. Lyor nem made sure they didn't get the number one record with Lloyd by messing with the numbers.

Cam & Dipset caught it from Jay and got his album delayed.

Jay also blocked Chris Brown after the Rihanna incident.

Kerri Hilson after dissing Beyonce.

Amerie caught it to make way for Beyonce.

French Montana was because of the DVDs and had to come to Atlanta to pop off.

Around 2003/2004 Dino Delvaille was Senior VP of A&R at Sony and wanted to sign Gotti. Three 6, who were on Sony, put a stop to that. This is around the time Gotti's album Life was out and before Crunchy Blac had that infamous interview and he mentions the Sony situation. Gotti also rapped about it on his "Why" freestyle.


They known for making promoters kick artists off shows they may be booked with. It was an Allhiphop interview with Kinfolk Thugs and they talked about how Three 6 would block them from performing at shows. The main reason Rap Hustlaz started dissing Three 6 is because at a show they had together, Three 6 performed first and at the end of their set they said "aight yall can leave now. Yall dont want to hear no wack s**t." Man Three 6 was something else when they were running things.

Was he completely shut down? Nah. But Eazy and Ruthless had to fight an uphill battle after the Dre situation. The thing was the streets kept supporting him so they couldn't completely deny him. They way they played him out in the SOC movie shows they still discredit him.

Any Black man that beats the system and doesn't bow down will get that treatment (Eazy, Master P, 50 Cent, etc). Industry politics are a mug. On Defiant Ones they barely mentioned 50 and they even said if you didnt put Beats in your videos they would cut your budget. 50 had his own headphones and we see what happened.
