People in the Booth say "that's the problem with hip hop, we don't respect the idea of being old and think its uncool" but in reality it is. People like Jay Z hinder careers of people like Big Krit because they inflate the culture with their dull elderly music only because of their influence.
Rappers in today's world would have had a much better chance if rappers had established their own business culture instead of relying on Iovines and Cohen's so they could make it rain in strip clubs.
On top of that would you respect a grown man who still talks like a child? Most rappers need to do more. They rap for 10 years and never make business moves so they currently rely on their old dusty raps instead of progressing the genre.
