I don't agree with OP, but Jay Z isn't "grown man hip hop"...He has the same subject matter as Chief...The only difference is Jay Z has a better vocabulary and larger platform..

But it is materialism all the way through with Jay Z...

Do you really expect someone in their mid 20s and over to listen to a 16 year old rapper?
Sure the subject matter is inane and mindless, but listening to teenage rappers these days is ridiculous..you may as well like the production, but theres nothing a teenage rapper is schooling.

Who said anything about future breh. To be a politician you must learn about past affairs to understand current affairs but when you work in current affairs but only follow the past affairs without trying to understand what's now then you have a problem.

I listened to old school at your age too, its a phase every hip hop or music fan should go thru to understand the greatness of now
