To me, suburbs shouldn't count against people, unless it's wayyyy out there. I think most people from the suburbs claim the city if you ask them.
Prodigy did rap a little too much about Queensbridge, though. But it was the NWA philosophy of the united front even if one of the guys is from another neighborhood. Poetic license.
In general, most people that move to Atlanta turn into ATLiens within a couple years. They completely adapt their personality, accent, lifestyle. I hear SoCal is like that too.
