Jay-z only talks about himself and is known to keep it very real with his, Nas is not known for keeping it real about himself but instead keeps it real about his break downs and paintings of other people.

A lot more "stupid" rappers like Plies, Waka Flocka flame etc do not use their own names.
Which is the only thing I can confirm as partially true about your statement.

But there is nothing supporting you claim when we look at artists like Common, Scarface, Ice Cube, all of wu-tang all the way to Krs, Guru, Outkast/Big Boi etc..

Waka Flocka is a real rapper tho
