Rappers who would've been more successful if they had better names

I honestly think some rappers' careers have suffered because their rapper names are either not catchy enough, not original enough, or just kind of weird or corny


For example, I think Kool G Rap could've been helped by a better name.

Kool Genius of Rap? Kind of corny. And the abbreviation to "Kool G Rap" doesn't work well either



I think Big L might have had more success if his name wasn't so generic

Yes, I know it is an 80s name. That doesn't mean it's not slightly corny and it doesn't mean G couldn't have benefitted from a different name



By the way, the "G" stands for Genius. It was only around the time that he was recording The Giancana Story that he switched it up and floated an alternative meaning of the "G"

KILLER MIKE. had the 2nd or 3rd best album last year with r.a.p music behind life is good and gkmc. with a better(or friendlier) name who knows. very good dicography overall. also has an incredible album out this year that gets slept-on - run the jewels.
by the way check out his 'reagan' music video on youtube. one of the best hip hop songs and videos in the past couple of years easily!!!!!!
