First person who came to mind. I thought he would have been nothing more then a mixtape rapper. But in the last several years dude has gotten features from damn near everybody, including pop acts like Bieber and Ariane Grande.

Dude got a legit core fan base and has a few number 1 albums under his belt. And for the most part from what I've seen he is humble about it. Can't do nothing but him.

Wayne survived tonguing men, Rick Ross survived being exposed as a cop, and Gunplay has lost multiple hand to hand battles, so it shouldn't be that surprising. For people growing up in the current rap climate, being able to nod your head to a beat is the only thing that matters.
