I honestly feel the opposite about Fab. I thought he would be a lot bigger than he is.

I can't believe how long Currency's run has been. Every month another project drops and I'm like :wtf:

word?

I mean Ive been listening to Fab since he was called Fabolous Sport. When he dropped his first official album I thought that was his window of opportunity to keep the momentum goin to ascend
to a flat out rap star. But he overdosed on too many chick songs as he went forward, and everybody wanted him to drop at least one gritty album, cuz his street songs combined with his lyricism went hard.

So it was like he hit a ceiling, which wouldve thrown most rappers in the bushes, then he dropped an official mixtape that was even sold at Barnes and Nobles that went straight hard.

Then he stayed relevant wit the hit girl songs and Its My Time which which was a bananas non girl hit, and always stayed on them features wit hard rappers, even got on the most anticipated album of 08, The Carter 3, and kilt it. Even the Ray J "beef" kept him relevant and was hella funny.

Even now his 2016 Summertime mixtape goes in.

I honestly thought he'd be official bushes status by now or sooner :yeshrug:

aint mean to type that much tho :whoa::russ:

Yeah that summertime Shootout is great. I thought he had a window when Jay stepped off in 03 and there was only hardcore rap from G-Unit as far as NY was concerned but he sort of went away too. Maybe he didn't want to challenge 50 for the crown. Now that I think about it, has him and 50 ever had beef or a collaboration? It's strange that a prominent NY rapper doesn't have one or the other with 50

Them Lo Lifes...
I was DJ'in back then..

Nobody on the west outside of cult followers was bumpin 3-6.

For the simple fact their name is reminiscent of the mark of the beast..:what:

Not to mention they got no love from radio.

Plus I would put their music on..and people would laugh/clown at country niccas trying to do Horrocore..

:manny:
