Believe it or not, Mobb Deep. I'm old enough to remember Peer Pressure and all their other tracks way before Infamous. I was living in NYC at the time and thought they were just another hardcore local group since there were so many at the time. I didn't think they would outlast some of those other groups, but Infamous came out and we know the rest...

Definitely French Montana. I thought he'd be a local New York rapper like Maino or Uncle Murder, even after the Bad Boy signing I didn't think he'd last long because if you're name isn't Big, you're not gonna last long. But he's still around to this day.

Fetty Wap, thought after Trap Queen he would've been done... still hear him on the radio till this day.
It's only been two years.

Not a popular one but I'm surprised Cash Out is still around somehow :ehh:

I was SURE he was going to be a one hit wonder but he keeps coming back with something that gets play in clubs :ehh:

I also didn't think T Pain would fall off so hard :francis:
Dude had the hook game on lock and auto tune is as big as ever and you barely hear about him anymore :francis:

When did you first hear her? :what:

If anything early nicki was much easier to take seriously

Either bed rock or one of waynes mixtapes where there was some chick on one of his joints that was rapping in a sexy baby voice (might not have been nicki, it's been a while)

Drake, especially when I heard Comeback Season the type of shyt was spitting wasn't something I thought would catch on especially with the singing shyt...dude ended re-inventing himself and started to churn out hits like :dwillhuh:. Especially since he was Canadian and on Degrassi, plus with the singing I figured dude would be a mixtape,underground...next thing you know brehs like Gucci on tracks with him and then the Wayne co-sign :dwillhuh:.

Big Sean- I figured he was done after HOF and would have a few radio hits here and there then slowly fade away but breh came back with Dark Sky Paradise and seems to just fukk around with flows with ease. :ohlawd: DSP was my fav rap album of 2015. Breh here to stay :wow:

Big Sean

Couldn't stand him then, and I can't stand him now
He here to stay too :blessed:
