Future. I really thought he wouldn't last past his 2012 album.

Gucci Mane. I thought he was a one hit wonder back in 2005 with So Icey. Plus the case he caught back then.

Drake. I know it's the popular thing to diss him but I thought he would be on the level of Mack Mane, J.Milz, and the other Cash Money/Young Money crew.

Rick Ross. I thought after he was exposed as a former CO he was done. Surprisingly he's gotten more popular since the exposure.

with all this said... runs don't mean shyt. LL Cool J has the longest run of any rapper ever and how often are we talking about his music these days? Rarely. And he's made classic songs. Certainly more classic than Gucci/Future etc.

But no bonafide classic album.

Rick Ross:patrice:Port of Miami and Trilla to Deeper than rap, Rich Forever, and Teflon Don:mindblown:

You know what, I actually thought Ross would have a better run post "Teflon Don". But at the same time, this game is dominated by singles artists. I can't imagine how dope his albums would be now if album quality still mattered.

a) I'm sure I'm not the only person that thinks this.

b) and even if I was, does that make my statement incorrect?
You being "sure" means you actually have no clue..and have never heard LL didnt have a classic.

The 2nd is just your opinion.

Which you are entitled to.

nah. It means what I said it means. The Coli did a poll about LL Cool J classics and there were posters who thought LL had no classics. Look it up.
